St John's Kirk, Perth, Perthshire, Scotland, 2009. First mentioned in 1126, St John's Kirk is the oldest building in Perth. It was the site of a famous sermon against idolatry delivered by John Knox in 1559 during the Reformation. In 1923 the building was comprehensively restored in memory of the men of Perthshire killed during the Great War.
