The Skinburness salt marsh is where the rivers Waver and Wampool flow into Moricambe bay and then on into the expanse of the Solway Firth. There are a few clouds in the blue sky over the mud flats at low tide. The landscape feels vast viewed from the public footpath that runs around Grune point and back to the village.
