The Arctic winter sea ice covering the Norton Sound in Alaska USA. At the sea ice edge and the open ocean the fog lingers low over the warmer ocean waters. The sea ice is thinner these days than even what it was some 15-20 years ago. Change is on its way as spring is approaching and the cold nights of winter is giving way to warmer summer days soon to come.
