Mozarabic church ruins of Bobastro, Ardales, Malaga, Spain.More information:
Bobastro is the site of a ruined Mozarabic (Christian convert from Islam) church built partly from the living rock in a remote spot near Ardales, Spain. There are ruined fortifications associated with the church and the site could represent the retreat used by the followers of Ibn Hafsun, a conversion to Christianity who rebelled aginst the caliphal government of Cordoba (Andalucia) between 879 and 918 AD.
