Rose Pogonia (Pogonia ophioglossoides) also known as the Snakemouth orchid is a species of orchid occurring from central Canada to the east-central and eastern United States. In the southeastern US it is in wet pine savannas and flatwoods from North Carolina and south and west through Florida and all the gulf coast states. Through the northern part of the range they are primarily found in bogs and fens
