Jumbo, a supermarket chain in the Netherlands, has started selling burgers made of buffalo worms The store says the eating of insects is not only a healthy and good alternative to factory farming, but also does something to alleviate food shortages world-wide. According to the UN, Insects such as wasps, grasshoppers, meal worms and caterpillars already form an integral or supplementary part of up to two billion people’s diets.
