Chrysalis Chrysalids Pupae of the Madagascan Comet Moth, Argema mittrei, Saturniidae. Madagascar. These moths are amongst the most beautiful in the world. The adults have no mouthparts and are unable to feed and drink all their feeding having been carried out as a caterpillar. Sadly they only live for around 14 days time only to reproduce and die.
