Portrait of Albert of Brandenburg, Archbishop of Mainz, as St. Erasmus, 1510-1550. He wears a mitre, a bejewelled cope over an alb and cassock. He holds a crosier and an instrument of torture. From an oil painting by Matthias Grunewald in the gallery of Aschaffenburg castle.
