Some 200 people of the collective "Our health at risk", including associations, unions, defense committees of health facilities and leftist parties, demonstrated on Saturday in Paris to defend access to a public health system, found an AFP journalist. Gathered outside the town hall of the twentieth arrondissement, in the east of the capital, demonstrators, some wearing white coats, occupied one side of the Place Gambetta, partially blocking traffic. "Ten days before the presidential election, health should be seen in the heart of political debate, because we are facing a deterioration of the health system resulting in reduced access to quality community care", said Carole Soule, employee of the AP-HP. At 15:00, the sound of a drum, the protesters were asked to lie on the tarmac for a few minutes to symbolize "the attacks against the health system". The sound of bagpipes, they are then identified and recovered in chorus "repeal of the law Bachelot" and "in a public health service, we will not release anything." Were then read messages of support from community similar in Britain and Spain.
