New Zealand weather can be unpredictable. Driving the camper van into a rainstorm on Highway 8 going north from Omarama towards Lindis Pass (971m). Still in the sunshine the first raindrops on the windshield are huge. 15 minutes later it's the first snow on March 4th at an elevation of around 700m.
