New Radnor, Powys, Wales - Saturday 10th October 2015 - The Vintage Sports Car Club ( VSCC ) hill climb trial challenge on The Smatcher a steep wooded hill just outside New Radnor. This Welsh Trial has been running since 1939. Competitors score points the further they drive up the steep hill with 25 points being awarded for reaching the top. The passenger act as "bouncer" who bounces to help the car grip on the steep section. Shown here is a 1930 Austin 7 Ulster Replica at the start of the hill climb.
