May 27, 2006 - Entrance gate (35m in height) of Bibi-Khanym Mosque in the Uzbek city of Samarkand. Its name derives from the wife of 14th century warlord Timur. The complex was built between 1399 and 1404, collapsed after an earthquake in 1897 and was reconstructed by the Soviets in 1974.
