This polished granite monolith is a public art work by artist Andrew Small located at the end of the Coast to Coast cycle route in Roker, a district of Sunderland. The sculpture is entitled "C" The work is aligned with the stars in the solar system at Easter and includes named planets engraved on its surface. In the background is Roker beach and harbour, with the pier and lighthouse also in view.
