Maikel Nabil Sanad, an Egyptian blogger and activist carrying a speech in Tel Aviv University on 02 January 2012. Maikel Nabil Sanad is an Egyptian activist who leads the No Compulsory Military Service Movement, having been the first conscientious objector to military service in Egypt. He was jailed for over a year but was pardoned by the Egyptian military in January 2012 following international pressure and efforts of several different human rights organizations. Nabil is a vocal critic of Egypt's cold relations with Israel.
