A woman is wheeled into an ambulance after a crash involving 12 vehicles on the northbound carriageway of the M5 motorway near Bristol. Up to a dozen people were injured in the accident between junctions 20 and 19 of the motorway shortly after 1pm today. The cause of the crash was not yet known, but a police spokesman said there were reports of a heavy downpour at around the time of the incident.
