Diebedo Francis Kere (pictured), the award-winning architect from Gando, Burkina Faso, has designed the Serpentine Pavilion 2017, next to the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens. Kere leads the Berlin-based practice Kere Architecture. He is the 17th architect to accept the Serpentine Gallery's invitation to design a temporary Pavilion in its grounds. The Pavilion is open to the public from 23 June to 8 October 2017.
