King Ludwig II (1845 - 1886), ormolu swan candelabrum from Hohenschwangau Castle Fire-gilt bronze. Three swans with outstretched wings and movable socket holders in their beaks. Leaf and vine ornaments in relief, electrification of later date. One of the decorative rosettes for chain mounting missing. Overall height 54 cm, diameter ca. 37 cm. Very beautifully und intricately crafted piece, typical for the summer residence of the royal family, in which the later King Ludwig II spent a large part of his youth.
