The Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival 2016:
Each year thousands of people gather in the sleepy Dorset village of Tolpuddle to celebrate the memory of the Tolpuddle Martyrs whose lonely struggle for justice for farm workers in the early nineteenth century contributed to the foundation and growth of the modern Trade Union movement.
An angry political folk-punk band with ska and reggae influences, from Warsop in Nottinghamshire. The lead singer Ken Bonsall is a former coal miner.
Location: Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival, Dorset, England, United Kingdom, UK, Great Britain, GB.
