Hokudan-cho Earthquake Memorial Park in Awaji Island memorializes the Kobe Earthquake. There is a shake table that simulates the 7.3 earthquake. Also the rupture from the Nojima Fault and evidence of liquefacton is visible through the glass on the floor. ( Peter Essick / Aurora )
