Video Ring by “The Art Guys” was commissioned by Continental Airlines. The work consists of 80 color monitors with video playing on all screens, synchronized to create an 80 channel frame synchronizer programmed to play so that there is an offset of 3 frames per player. This gives the installation motion with the images seeming to rotate around the ring at a fast and continuous rate. This has created a smooth continuous video for travelers to enjoy as they walk through the airport terminal.
