Igneous layering in the cliff face of Gabbrofjeld in the Skaergaard intrusion, East Greenland. The layering formed when crystals were deposited on the floor of the Skaergaard magma chamber. A large block fell from the roof of the magma chamber to be embedded in the rocks as they formed.
