A hopea odorata tree, close to the Mae Ya Waterfall in Doi Inthanon National Park, decorated with brightly-coloured clothing and fabrics as an offering to the female tree spirit, Nang Ta-khian. Tradtion says she haunts this type of tree and sometimes appears as a beautiful young woman wearing traditional Thai attire.
