Photograph taken from outwith the site boundaries. The abbey was founded in the 12th century for the Premonstratensian Order of canons (White Canons). The Abbey of St. Agatha, Easby, was founded in 1152 by Roald, Constable of Richmond Castle. It is situated about a mile east of Richmond, North Yorkshire.
