The photo was taken from the inside of a route 15 London bus. It shows the Gherkin building and St Botolph's church, both reflected in the inside window of the bus's top deck next to, and to the left of, where the photographer was sitting. The brick building with sash windows, at which the camera was pointing through the window, was in the street outside the bus (i.e. on the left of the bus; the Gherkin and St. Botolph's were on the right).
