Conservative MP Ian Liddell- Grainger holds aloft one of two missile-casings found washed ashore on the Weston-Super-Mare coastline, outside the Old War Office in central London. Mr Liddell-Grainger, who was returning the blue fibre-glass tail-fins to the MoD, today accused the ministry of a "catalogue of failures" in allowing a pallet load of missiles to be lost during a routine underwater disposal exercise which went wrong in March 2002.
