As a result of the conflict between the LRA and the Government millions of people were forced to leave their villages and settle in camps which are widely known as IDP (Internally displaced people) camps. Atiak the settlement which these children are from has been here for over 15 years and for many is not just a camp but the only place that they know. They have never even been to the villages where their parents are from and where they should have been born. You have to grow up fast in this environment and even today their is still the very real fear of being abducted or attacked. All eyes are on the Peace Talks that are due to finish at the end of February 2008. If peace fails this people will be once again on the front line of the conflict.
