Over 1000 protesters gathered in Queen Street Cardiff to show solidarity with Muslims and women, two groups who have been harshly dealt with by the newly elected US President Donald Trump. The gathering by the Aneurin Bevan Statue on Queen Street was addressed by former Welsh First Minister Rhodri Morgan as well as other politicians and rights activists. Afterwards, there was a march through Queen Street.
