Admiral Lord Collingwood of Hethpool and Coldburn died at sea in 1810 and was buried next to his friend and comrade in arms, Lord Nelson in St Pauls's cathedral. He commanded the British fleet during the battle of Trafalgar after Nelson had been mortally wounded.
