Designed by Lieutenant Colonel G. Val Myer, Broadcasting House was built in 1932 as the BBC's first purpose built centre of broadcasting. The building is predominantly made of distinctive off-white Portland Stone and is located on Portland Place, north of Oxford Circus & opposite the Langham Hotel and All Souls Church. Currently the corporate HQ to the BBC & home to BBC radio.
