Loch Katrine is a freshwater loch owned by Scottish Water and is the primary water reservoir for most of the city of Glasgow and surrounding areas. The loch is around 40 miles from the city of Glasgow and is a popular day trip for Glaswegians and tourists to walk and cycle around the paths
