Aug. 01, 1961 - The young French singer Michele le Bris, 22, if you remember, won the grand prize in 1960 at the conservatory and comic opera, and she sung the role of Marguerite from ''Faust'' at the Paris Opera last year. She was the youngest singer in the world to play the role. Next season, she will tour as Marguerite and sing in the big cities of France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
