Stevedores from Thessaloniki protested on the reduction of 70% of their reserves from the Bank of Greece after the implementation of the PSI from the Greek government. Stevedores wrote slogans concerning the economic situation in Greece and threw eggs against Bank of Greece. Then continued the march downtown with destination the former Ministry of Macedonia and Thrace. The Panhellenic Maritime Federation eventually went to 48-hour strike of Holy Week, despite intense pressure chambers and tourism operators, and market factors. The PMF at today's meeting of the Executive Committee decided not to proceed to a vote, as the requests were answered yesterday by the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness and Shipping not satisfied and the strike of the Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday will take place normally.
