African wild dogs, near Kwando Concession, Linyanti Marshes, Botswana. African wild dogs are extremely endangered. Only about 6,000 are left. This pack was large, about 20. They hunt as a pack, chasing and wearing down their prey. They then eat the entire animal, including bones. This all takes place in a short period of time before dark.
