Formally called the White-bellied Yuhina this species is now known as the White-bellied Erpornis (Erpornis zantholeuca) or simply Erpornis. It is the only member of the genus Erpornis. This bird is found throughout South Asia including China and Taiwan. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
