A Syrian migrant who has fled the war and escaped to Europe, landing on the Greek island of Lesvos on the north coast at Efthalou, is helped by the Greek police. Up to 4,000 migrants a day are landing on the island and overwhelming the authorities. They are traficked by illegal Turkish people traffickers who charge up to $2,000 per person for a half hour ride in an overcrowded inflateable boat from the Turkish mainland to Lesvos.
