A Prussian enlisted man's cuirass, before 1740 A heavy, blackened breastplate with a slight central ridge. Pegs for the scale chain are present, as are hooks on the sides for attaching the stomach straps. A shallow dent on the right side from proof tests against gunfire. The edges have the original surrounding leather cushioning. The interior has a coarse linen lining with the wearer's name. "A. Fousch(?)". Height 39 cm.
