A preserved Midland Red C5 coach takes a break in countryside while giving a ride to attendees of a Bus Rally at Alton, Hampshire. Mildland Red built there own buses and coaches and this one dates from 1959. They were built to use the new M1 motorway between London and Birmingham and were capable of holding high speeds for a long time. The coach has recently been restored to a very high standard. The bus rally is held annually in July and always has a good selection of vehicles, some of which give free rides around the local area.
