A modern day pilgrim passes the cathedral in the Plaza del Santo in Santo Domingo dela Calzada, Spain August 25, 2016. The pilgrimage route know as the Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James, runs through the square. The route, which dates back to the Middle Ages, leads to the shrine of the apostle St. James the Great, in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, where, according to tradition, the remains of the saint are buried.
