More information:

One of the handful of living masters trained in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage art of Chinese wooden movable type carves a small wooden Chinese character to be used in print making at Dongyuan Village, Rui'an, Zhejiang Province, China. Chinese movable type has been used here for 800 years and continues today as families reprint their pedigree or family geneaologies using the same ancient Chinese printing technology created by Bi Sheng in the 11th century, hundreds of years before Johannes Gutenberg introduced movable type printing in Europe.
