Because The Me 262 was so fast In The Air , The American Mustangs Could Not Match Their Speed & found It almost Impossible To Shoot Them Down. So The American Fighters Would Follow The German Jet Fighters To Their Home Bases & Attack & Destroy Them As They Landed Or Where At A Stand Still On The Ground.
