A cased pair of percussion pistols, N. Guyot, Paris, circa 1850. Octagonal blued barrels with patent breechblocks and narrow groove rifling in 11.5 mm calibre. The tops of the barrels are finely engraved with "Guyot Arg. 12 Rue de Ponthieu, Paris". Colour case hardened locks with fine ornamental engraving. Walnut stocks with checkered butts and colour case hardened iron furniture engraved en suite. Blank gold escutcheons. Length of each 43.5 cm.
