Several American soldiers are standing together talking while another builds a wall of sandbags. Behind them is a Bradley Armoured Fighting Vehicle and the American flag, Old Glory, flies above them. After Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in August 1990, coalition forces were quick to send their armies to both defend Saudi Arabia and to successfully oust the Iraqi forces by the end of February 1991. They pushed another 200km into Iraq, stopping just 8km south of Nasiriyah.
