Torajan Tongkonan houses tower up in to the sky with architectural features such as the unique roof style which is an architectural design specific to the Toraja culture. Shaped in the form of Buffalo horns these incredible buildings are a testament to the animal they represent and which is used in numerous traditional ceremonies as the sacrificial animal.
