Soldiers from Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team honored the legacy of former Garry Owen Trooper the late Col. (R) Rick Rescorla, with a PT competition March 22nd, called the Rescorla Challenge. Rescorla was a former British Soldier, turned US Army Officer who was a platoon leader in Bravo Company during the war in Vietnam. Later, he became the head of security for Morgan Stanly and would be responsible for saving the lives of over 2,500 people during the devastating events on September 11, 2001. Rescorla died as a result of his heroism.
