Sol de Mañana is high altitude geothermal field in the desert south of Laguna Colorada. At a height of approx. 4900m / 16,100ft it is pretty much the highest point of normal tours through the region. Many colourful boiling mud pools or mudpots can be seen there (don't get too close, the ground is fragile!) as well as fumaroles - Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa, Bolivia
