Police officers in riot gear have surrounded the Antifa block at the rally and are pushing back two protesters. Around 2,000 anti-fascists from different political parties and organisations marched through the city of Kandel, to show their opposition to the march by the right-wing AfD party that was taking part at the same time and which used the remembrance of the murder of a girl late last year by an Asylum seeker, as pretext for a right-wing and racist protest.
