Dunsop Bridge is a village on the east side of the Trough of Bowland in Lancashire England UK. The village used to be in the West Riding of Yorkshire but on the 1st April 1974 it was placed under lancashire County Council. Dunsop Bridge has been said to be the centre of Great Britian but the exact centre is at Whitendale Hanging Stones which is 7km (4.5 miles) to the north of the village. British Telecom installed it's 100,000 payphone in the village in 1992 and it was unveiled by Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
