Kilnsey Crag - this huge, overhanging limestone cliff is an important landmark in Upper Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It was shaped by glaciers that once filled the valley thousands of years ago. With its 170ft elevation and 40ft overhang, it is a challenge for rock climbers drawn to it from far and wide. The area above the crag is also good for walking and offers fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.
