A mass meeting was held at 10 oclock February 20th and the Memorialwas explained to the Freshmen and new students, the upperclassmen havingalready pledged $251, 000 during the campaign of 1921. $25, 000 was raisedat the meeting in a few minutes. Carl Crocker was chairman of the 1922 Student Committee and FredEldean had charge of the campaign of 1921. In addition to the student subscriptions, $150, 000 was pledged by thealumni and friends of the University. The total amount pledged in the twocampaigns was $441, 000, and work on the building its
