The Cleveland Museum of Art south entrance in Cleveland, Ohio, USA is seemingly guarded over by a Rodin-supervised cast of The Thinker. Uniquely this cast was bombed in 1970 and instead of repairing it or putting it out of commission, the museum kept it where it stands today with the legs of the bronze and green patina sculpture blown off. Clevleand Police surmise the vandalism was attributed to the Weather Underground, a politically radical group that deposed the Vietnam War at the time.
